FGV Prodata Systems Sdn Bhd (FGV Prodata) explores new technologies offered by ACER Malaysia in a recent technology showcase and update session held in Wisma FGV. This technology update has become an annual event to FGV Prodata since it is in partnership with ACER for more than 25 years ago.
Since their first collaboration in early 90’s, FGV Prodata have always been in the forefront of every technological breakthrough or hardware advances introduced by ACER, and this year is no different. ACER’s delegation led by their Chief Business Development Officer En. Meor Munawir Meor Yussuf, have showcased a few updates from its R&D team on its latest enterprise products.
Latest hardware line-up for 2020, ranging from Notebooks, Desktop Computers and Servers were shown on that day. One product that stood out among all the hardware line-up is a Virtual Desktop device called ACER AltosCloud VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure). Desktop of windows/Linux can be delivered as an on-demand service to any user, anywhere, and at any time by using a Unique Transport Protocol (VDX), acer’s unique virtualization desktop technology.
Among the key benefits of thin client like ACER AltosCloud VDI are, it will simplify IT managements, improve efficiencies, enhanced data securities, save energies as well as saves the overall IT Costs. This virtual desktop technology also can be quickly and safely delivered to the entire desktop users, whether they are in the office or out of the office. Users can flexibly access their desktops from any device while gaining a true HD experience.
